Trampoline

Trampolining is a competitive Olympic sport in which gymnasts perform acrobatics while bouncing on a trampoline. Multiple somersaults and twists are performed at a height of 8 meters and require precise technique and perfect body control. The Trampoline is also used as a basic training device for all sports that contain acrobatic elements.

Moves Competitive trampolining routines consist of combinations of 10 contacts with the trampoline bed combining varying rotations, twists and shapes with take-off and landing in one of four positions:

* Feet
* Seat
* Front
* Back

Penalties are given for major errors, such as walking on the Trampoline’s frame. In cases of disregard for the regulations, or unsportsmanlike conduct, a competitor will receive a warning and will be disqualified if the case or act continues.
